We're a team of geeks and proud of it. We're plotting to shake up Google and digital marketing. We don't care for, or have time for, crap digital agencies with fluffy vanity reports. Content has a bad rep for being nothing but aimless blog posts and monthly newsletter… That's not what we do here - we use a marriage of SEO science and creative writing knowledge to get every client the sweet, sweet green in their bank account.
We want solid results and people who will demonstrate these. Be brave. Show us your expertise. Not arrogance, but skill. We want you to join our growing SEO team. Regardless of your experience, if you plan, research, and produce quality content, we want you!
Dark Horse wants a team player, someone who understands that the success of the team is greater than their own. In return, you'll get opportunities to develop your career, plus, the other good stuff associated with agency life.
Based in Manchester (the Altrincham part specifically), we are a fast-growing digital agency competing with the big boys… and winning. Dark Horse shows no fear, we want you to join us with the same attitude. Give back to the industry. We give it plenty. We give zero fucks and no quarter.
Are You Our Next SEO Content Exec?
Working closely with Tech SEO and Digital PR, reporting to the lead Content Manager, and ultimately Head of SEO – you'll play a key part in our SEO team with your focus being on planning, researching and producing quality content. We want you to use your creative side, SEO tools and research, and a commercial mindset to come up with fresh ideas that will make our clients rich. The content you plan and deliver will range from blog posts and product descriptions through to creative campaigns supporting our link building efforts (and everything in between).

The “Perks” of Being a Dark Horse
Look, we won't lie, we don't do pizza Fridays. What we do actually offer are things that matter a bit more, the things that make the hype of work-life balance more doable.
You've got a hybrid role choice – meaning we spend part of the week in the office and part of it at home, enjoying the joys of working within the comforts of your own four walls. Flexitime is a thing. There are loads of holidays to enjoy, PLUS Bank Holidays (people screw you over by not making that clear). We love our little planet, so every month we plant trees in the Dark Forest on behalf of every team.
